Vegan French Toast

Directions

  1. Add all ingredients except for the bread into a bowl and whisk until smooth
  2. Heat 1tbs olive oil or vegan butter in pan on medium heat
  3. Dip bread slices into batter coating each side thoroughly. If using sourdough or a firmer bread, gently press down into batter so bread can absorb as much as possible. If batter seems a little thick, thin with some more water
  4. Place bread onto pan and cook until golden brown on each side, approx. 3-4 minutes per side
  5. Remove from pan and top with desired toppings
